The symbol of Okime arose from a deep internal inquiry about self-protection. The holding of staves and warnings keeps vigil over the gates to the soul, the keeper of the heart, the regency of thought.
Four arms symbolise the four directions of protection, with their crossing indicating the fifth, the portal of the unknown, where the invaluable treasure of one's very own truth maintains innermost sanctuary.
From the fifth direction all things arise, whether deemed good or bad, left or right. Open your mind to the wisdom that is worth more than ever to your world, while teaching yourself to act with self-sacredness and care of the value that lies beyond it.
⁘ Materialising Spirit ⁘
Okime is woven around carved driftwood, cut with an antique warriors knife. His kimono was cut from the leather of a distant realm. The painted and marked staves, the small protective amulets of shell and fabric, are all intricately shaped and handcrafted. The long tail of Okime's hair is made from the single feather of a rare bird. His belt is crowned with an encased sardonyx gemstone, involving the safekeeping of one's precious soul work.

Okime was called and came directly by me, and with the doll maker he will stay, along with his rites and rituals.

Although Okime is not available for adoption, a space is momentarily open to have your own custom amulet doll crafted into a reality.
Your doll will be a reflection of your own inner symbolic path, carefully woven from a short yet significant consultation.
In dreams and visions, the wisdom path of your doll will present itself, at first in symbols, later unfolding into stories, prayers and rituals.
By this bridge of intention into our world, your doll will begin to manifest itself. With hands guided by the spirit, the crafting process will follow its own unique, patient and intuitive way.
The whole process will take 28 days - or one lunar cycle - to complete.
